Terms of Service

Warranty
  1. Ultimate Playgrounds Limited, warrants its wooden structures to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal use and conditions, for a period of Two years for above ground structural wood components and for One year for all other components and accessories
  2. Wood as a natural product, may naturally present or develop cosmetic imperfections. Natural wood tendencies such as splintering, warping, seasonal checking or cracking, knots or knot holes are normal characteristics of outdoor wooden play equipment and are not covered by this warranty, unless it is deemed, at Ultimate Playgrounds Limited discretion, such natural occurrences to redeem the wooden structure unsafe.
  3. Wood rot or decay that may develop because of the wooden structure was installed in an area with poor drainage, is not covered in this warranty.
  4. Fading, discolouration or mould on any wood part or accessory is not covered by this warranty. Surface rust on hardware and chips on powder coated materials are not considered defects in material as long as they do not affect the functionality or structural integrity of the part or component.
  5. This warranty, does not cover:
    1. Products that have been damaged by a act of God and / or nature.
    2. Products that have been damaged by vandalism.
    3. Normal wear and tear.
    4. Products that have been modified or repaired by unauthorized persons.
  6. If the product purchased is found to be damaged at the time of taking delivery, with package presenting signals of damage, please refuse delivery, and advise us immediately, so we can work on a satisfactory replacement solution. If damage is only found upon opening packaging, please contact us via email, within 24 hours of taking delivery, with photos so we can start the process of lodging a claim with carrier, in order to be able to provide you with a solution ( Please note 24 hours is the time limit, that we can lodge such claim with some freight companies ).
  7. Ultimate Playgrounds Limited, at its own discretion will : repair, replace or refund, any above ground part within the stated warranty period that is defective in workmanship or materials. This decision is subject to verification of the defect, which at Ultimate Playgrounds Limited discretion, may be accomplished by submitting photographs or by delivery of the defective part to Ultimate Playgrounds Limited.
      Any warranty claim must include proof of purchase, including the date of purchase.
      • If we decide to provide a refund of your purchase, this will be less the cost of shipping. Refunds will be issued on a case by case basis. Please contact, Ultimate Playgrounds Limited via phone or email prior to returning the item, so we have the opportunity to correct any issues.
      • If however, the goods are faulty or damaged we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act and repair, replace or refund accordingly.
      • This Warranty is valid only if the product is used for the purpose for which it was designed and installed at a residential dwelling. This warranty is voided if the product is used in a commercial, institutional or public setting.
      • Please select your product carefully as Ultimate Playgrounds Limited will not accept refunds if you change your mind after purchasing.
      Payment

      Prices are as stated in NZ dollars on the web site. Quotes are provided for non-standard products, delivery and/ or installation and are valid for 1 month.

      Payment is required in advance for all posted or couriered products as well as where client is collecting from us.

      For items under the value of $1500 that require construction, full payment is required in advance.

      For items that are over the value of $1500 that require construction, a 50% deposit is required to confirm installation date.  Final payment is due Monday the week prior to scheduled date of installation.

      For those who have chosen to set up a lay-by with us, your 30% non-refundable deposit will not be refunded. Installation date and or delivery will take place, once we receive the last lay buy payment has occurred.

      Cancellation Policy

      Please note, Ultimate Playgrounds Limited, does not accept cancellations once payment has been processed.

      Privacy Policy

      Customer details will not be forwarded to or used by other companies or 3rd parties. Ultimate Playgrounds Limited, reserves the right to contact customers after purchasing. Please note, you may contact us at any time to change or update your details.

      Delivery policy

      For all small accessories and playground toys available from Ultimate Playgrounds Limited, courier fees apply. Please note, if you require rural delivery, rural delivery fees will apply.

      For all large accessories and wooden structures ( except installed Playgrounds), available from Ultimate Playgrounds Limited, truck freight and packaging fees apply. Please note, if you require rural delivery, rural delivery fees will apply.

      For all Playgrounds Structures, as they are not kitsets, availability is only via Ultimate Playgrounds Delivery and Installation Service.

      Whilst Installation and Delivery fee for installations within Auckland Region is included on Playground Structures price, Delivery and Installation outside Auckland Region, a Delivery Fee will Apply and will be calculated based distance and travelling time, depending on your delivery location.

      Pick Ups

      We allow pick-ups from our premises by appointment only once you have paid your order in full. Our address is 1455 Awhitu road, Pollok, AUCKLAND.

      Pickup tips:
      • You may require a trailer to pick your order.
      • Please bring strapping material, as you may need to secure your load. Also bring, cardboard or blankets if you are collecting a Slide, as these are not packaged.
